This KitchenAid Pizza Dough creates perfect cloud like pizza dough every time with minimal effort as Rizzo (yes I named my KitchenAid) does all the work.
It doesn’t stick to the bowl, perfect to make in the afternoon and leave to rest ready to roll out at dinner time, and it’s not dense or heavy like other doughs can be.
Ingredients – (Makes 2 large pizzas)
2 teaspoons of lowan instant dried yeast
1 cup warm water
1.5 teaspoons of white sugar
1 tablespoon of salt
1 tablespoon garlic infused olive oil
2.5 cups plain flour
Add water, sugar and yeast to the large bowl with dough hook attachment and mix for 30 seconds on speed 1. Leave to stand for ten minutes until creamy looking.
Add the salt olive oil and flour and mix on speed two for 6 minutes.
As you can see by the bowl there’s no lumpy mess leftover, the machine does all the work.
Roll out, add your favourite toppings and bake at 190c for approximately 12-15 minutes or until golden but will depend on the size of your pizzas.
This recipe is also great for making a heap of mini pizzas and freezing for school lunches.
