Just add ice-cream hampers make the perfect gift for both the young and old. They are quick and easy to put together and a life saver when you are out of ideas on what to buy someone, have no clue what to buy someone, or great for secret Santa. These hampers are always well received as who doesn’t like ice cream right?
We put these together last year and they make a wonderful gift for family, friends and teachers. You can also make one for the kids as a parting gift from Elf for the kids to enjoy on Christmas Eve.
To a basket I added –
A tea towel
Mini glass jars filled with sprinkles, mini mallows and mini m&m’s.
For the second hamper pictured I added crunchy sprinkles and ice magic.
Kmart have reasonably priced baskets as do most dollar stores, otherwise a gift box works well too. Get creative with your hamper and add anything you like. You could add lollies, a gift voucher for the recipient to purchase a tub of ice cream, oreo’s or other store bought biscuits to make ice cream sandwiches, have fun with it.
When you’ve filled your little hamper, wrap it all up in clear cellophane and tie off with a ribbon. The
gift tag was part of a free printable garland I found on Pinterest and I just added the label with the wording using my silhouette cameo. You can just use a pen or sharpie to write on or leave it plain.
You can download the free ice cream garland from the Hello Wonderful blog here.
