Diy Charging station – Kmart Hack

We all have phones and tablets, and rely quite heavily on them for work and school which means they require frequent charging.
If you’re anything like me you despise cords as they look messy.

I searched high and low for a white charging station to keep everything neat an tidy but to no avail, so I decided to make my own.

I purchased these two bamboo trays from Kmart, you can find the small  tray here and the medium here.

Small and narrow bamboo tray $2

Medium and wide bamboo tray $4

My Husband drilled two small holes (but wide enough to fit the charger cord through), into the back of the small tray, and one large hole in the back of the medium tray to feed multiple cords.

I then gave the trays a light sand and two coats of Rust-Oleum gloss white spray paint.
I added washi tape to the smaller one but you could add a chalk or vinyl label which would look great.
You could do this with any wooden box or crate you like.
